How do I connect Bubbles to Claude?

Written by Kristi Panta

Add Bubbles as a connector in Claude so it can work with your meetings and recordings.

You can connect Claude to Bubbles without writing any code. Claude connects over MCP (Model Context Protocol), so there's no API key to create or paste.

How do I connect Bubbles to Claude?

  1. In Claude, go to Settings, then click Connectors.

  2. Click Add custom connector.

  3. Give it a name, like Bubbles, and paste in this URL: https://api.usebubbles.com/mcp

  4. Sign in to Bubbles when it opens in your browser (or create an account), then approve the access Claude is asking for.

  5. Back in Claude, open the tools menu in a chat and turn on Bubbles. Custom connectors are off by default in each conversation.

Once it's on, try asking Claude "What can you do with Bubbles?"

Good to know

  • This needs a paid Bubbles workspace. On a free workspace, the approval step asks you to upgrade first.

  • Adding a custom connector works on every Claude plan, including Free, which allows one custom connector.

  • There's no token to copy. Approving access in your browser is all it takes.

  • The URL isn't a webpage, so don't open it in a browser. If you do, you'll see a JSON-RPC error, which is expected.

  • Using Claude Code? Run this command instead: claude mcp add --transport http bubbles "https://api.usebubbles.com/mcp"

Still stuck?

  • Couldn't connect: check that you pasted the URL exactly as shown.

  • Claude says you're not signed in: the browser sign-in didn't finish. Reconnect the connector and complete the Bubbles sign-in.
