Auto Join preferences let you control which meetings the Bubbles Notetaker should automatically join and record. Instead of all-or-nothing, you can fine-tune the behavior to match your workflow.

Found under Settings ->Notetaker settings (personal) or Workspace → Notetaker defaults (admins).
These options are additive - you can check multiple preferences to cover different meeting types.
The preferences explained
I Organized: If checked, Bubbles joins meetings where you are the organizer/host.
I am invited to: If checked, Bubbles joins meetings where you are listed as a participant.
I have not accepted: If checked, Bubbles joins meetings even if you haven’t RSVP’d “Yes” in your calendar.
With participants from [your-domain.com]: If checked, Bubbles joins meetings with participants from your company domain (example: @company.com).
With external participants: If checked, Bubbles joins meetings that include attendees from outside your domain.
Only if they’re recurring: If checked, Bubbles only joins recurring meetings that match the above preferences. Upon unchecked, meetings will be ignored.
How it works in practice
All preferences except “Only if they’re recurring” are additive. For example:
If you select both I organized and I am invited to, Bubbles will join both types.
“Only if they’re recurring” acts as a filter: if enabled, Bubbles only joins recurring meetings that fit your other checked preferences.
Good to know
If Auto Join is on but no preferences are checked, Bubbles won’t join any meetings.
You can always bypass preferences by manually recording with Paste a link or the Chrome/Edge extension.
Workspace admins can lock defaults for the whole team to enforce compliance or company-wide recording policies.
