First, a quick note
Your calendar must be connected for the Notetaker to automatically join.
The meeting invite must have at least 2 participants (including you as the organizer).
A supported meeting platform is required (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, GoTo Meeting, or Webex).
Notetaker bot should be admitted to the meeting.
Step 1: Connect your calendar
Ensure you’re logged into Bubbles then go to App > Notetaker
Check that your calendar is connected at the top right of the window, next to the Record Screen button. If not, connect to your calendar.
Step 2: Ensure the meeting meets the requirements
The invite must include at least 2 participants (you + one other).
The invite must contain the meeting link for a supported platform.
Step 3: How the Notetaker joins and records
The bot joins 1 minute before the scheduled start time.
It waits up to 20 minutes for at least one participant to join before starting to record.
If no one joins within 20 minutes after a meeting is scheduled to start, the bot leaves.
If participants join, the bot records and transcribes the meeting until it ends.
Good to know
You’ll receive an email after the meeting with the AI-generated summary and action items.
This is useful for:
Meetings you can’t attend but need a record of
Backup in case of connection issues
Capturing full notes even if you join late
